Family Literacy Night
Join RTMI (Read To Me International) & the Waimea Public Library for read-alouds, a light meal, and a kid-friendly craft! Families who register on the RTMI & Waimea (Kauaʻi) Public Library Family Literacy Night Registration Page will receive a free new picture book to take home with a reading resource packet.
This monthly program (3rd Mondays) is especially for families with children 4-8 years old, and younger/older siblings are welcome to join. Our May program features these two books:
When the Cassowary Pooped by Tamara Montgomery and Jodi Parry Belknap, illustrated by Joseph D. Dodd
Hooray for Birds! by Lucy Cousins.
We will also feature a special guest, Dr. Arnie Serota, who will share how to respond if a young child has an emergency such as choking.
Please register for the program here: RTMI & Waimea (Kaua’i) Public Library Family Literacy Night Registration Page
